Task One ~ Archetypes and Heroes
We are starting the year looking at Joseph Campbell’s concept of the hero’s journey. You will be studying the classic film, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. You will also be choosing different mythological heroes to read about, and you assessment task will be an essay discussing how the archetypes of hero and villain are represented in the texts you have studied.
